I am a very level headed individual, who reacts well under pressure and I like to have goals to achieve. I am entrepreneurial in my approach, due to my past experience and I understand the balance between technical and commercial issues. I am a high achiever, an excellent communicator, with good interpersonal skills. I am completely at home in the board room with city institutions, but equally I can communicate effectively with anyone in the organisation.
I am a strategic thinker, so I have an ability to stand back from a complex issue and quickly analyse the situation in simple logical terms. I am able to think laterally (out of the box), and I can perform best when working as an individual, or with people of a similar nature. I have no problems with accepting responsibility, as I am a very self-confident, and I can happily justify my actions, after the event.
I have a tremendous amount of experience in doing business in some of the developing markets, which could make me highly suitable for this challenging new role. I have an understanding of different cultures, I know what it takes to succeed in new markets and I have a lot of experience of the ‘Socio-Economic Development Model’ used by economists advising governments.
